About The Position
Leominster Public Schools is looking for a licensed practical nurse to provide direct care to students at Northwest Elementary School.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Current Massachusetts Nursing License
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification

- Three years nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Evaluate student health and report findings/changes to the RN, parent/guardian, teacher and physician when appropriate.
- Document health office visits in the student’s electronic medical record.
- Work with the RN to address student health issues and concerns.
- Maintain school health records according to state laws and school policy via paper files and the computer.
- Participate in yearly mandatory student health screenings.
- Administer medications and treatments to students as per MD orders, DPH guidelines and school policy.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities if asked.
