About The Position

This role is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is driven to be the best caregiver and excel in their nursing career by providing the highest quality of care for residents and staff members. The position requires directing the work of care staff, ensuring adequate staffing, and managing resident care based on individual needs, physician orders, assessments, and family wishes. Responsibilities include transcribing orders, communicating with physicians, coordinating admissions and transfers, and responding to emergency calls with independent judgment.

Requirements

• A State of Nebraska Practical Nursing License (LPN)
• The drive to ensure each resident is receiving the best care for their physical and mental well-being.
• The independence to coordinate resident care through physician orders, assessments and family wishes.
• The confidence to respond to emergency calls and prepared to use your own judgment to assess situations.

Responsibilities

• Direct the work of the care staff members and ensure adequate staffing is available for the proper care of the residents.
