About The Position
Devon Oaks Assisted Living, an Eliza Jennings Community in Westlake and a nationally recognized leader in person-centered care, is seeking part-time or PRN LPNs at its Assisted Living Community, located in Westlake. The Part-time Evening Shift Hours are 6:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. They are also hiring PRN for all shifts.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio
- Basic computer proficiency
- Written and oral communication skills; demonstrated listening skills
- Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities with demanding time frames; strong organizational skills
- Ability to provide direction and instruction to resident assistants/STNAs
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the activities of nursing assistants to ensure resident's needs are met
- Complete initial and ongoing nursing assessments needed to plan care interventions
- Administer direct resident care including medication
- Communicate with the resident's family about changes in conditions
