About The Position

Pioneer Human Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for human services to join their team. Pioneer Human Services empowers justice-involved individuals to overcome adversity and reach their full potential. They are a nationally recognized non-profit with over 35 locations across Washington state, providing services to over 9,500 individuals in 2024. The LPN will provide quality health care services to clients, managing somatic conditions, medical needs, communicating with team members for treatment protocols, and creating a favorable group climate for effective treatment. This position supports the Residential Services Division by performing clinical tasks to ensure quality and cost-effective medical services for behavioral health clients.

Requirements

  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Washington.
  • Must have a current Washington State LPN license in good standing.
  • 1-year experience working in a care setting.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electronic charting.
  • Experience working with mental health & chemical dependency clients.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Knowledge of local resources and services for individuals who are homeless or low-income and those experiencing chronic behavioral health challenges or having histories of involvement in legal system(s).
