LPN- Med/Surg (Per Diem)

About The Position

The LPN, under the direction of the RN, is responsible and accountable for coordinating the activities and providing clinical expertise for the care of an assigned group of patients, utilizing the Standards of Care of Nursing Practice. He/She provides direct patient care as needed during his/her shift. He/She contributes to the vision, mission, and strategic plan of the organization and is accountable for the Standards of Care and practice in the area of responsibility where clinical nursing is practiced. The LPN must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patients requirements relative to his/her age, specific needs, and to provide the care needed as directed in the units departmental policies and procedures. Within North Country Healthcare we have LPN positions available at four locations, our Androscoggin Valley Hospital, North Country Home Health & Hospice, Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital and Weeks Medical Center. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of medical assisting or nursing
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current New Hampshire license as an LPN.
  • Minimum of 1 year prior nursing experience. (Office Nurse II)
  • Minimum 3 years prior nursing experience. (Office Nurse III)
