The LPN is responsible for providing care to clients, which includes administering medication, taking vital signs, and assessing medical needs. The role involves assisting with client admissions and discharges, recording observations, and reporting to the medical team. The LPN will compassionately interact with clients to encourage engagement in treatment, maintain a safe and sanitary environment, and attend required staff trainings and meetings. Responsibilities also include communicating with the pharmacy, completing nursing admissions (intake surveys, blood draws, TB testing, GeneSight swabbing), and adhering to policies regarding client information protection, including alcohol-drug client confidentiality and HIPAA.
