About The Position

The LPN provides direct nursing care to residents, working closely with the care team to support each resident's health, comfort, and dignity throughout the evening hours. We're looking for a compassionate, dependable LPN to join our team on a part-time basis for evening shifts.

Requirements

  • Active LPN license in good standing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability for evening shifts and rotating weekends
  • Colorado State Licensed Practical Nurse license, in good standing.
  • Must have computer word processing and database experience.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-year experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
  • 1-year experience in overseeing and monitoring other staff preferred.
  • IV Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor and document residents' conditions, reporting changes to the care team
  • Support residents with daily care needs in a respectful, person-centered way
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, aides, and the interdisciplinary team
  • Respond to resident needs and emergencies during the shift
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
