About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides direct and indirect patient care services, requiring clinical competence within their scope of practice and in accordance with state requirements. This full-time, night shift role (7p-7a, with rotating weekends and holidays) is in the Medical/Surgical department at Prime Healthcare Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and in collaboration with the healthcare team, the LPN/LVN is responsible for maintaining patient safety, providing comfort and care, and enhancing the overall patient experience in the MST setting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
- IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
