About The Position
We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses for full-time positions within a senior living and long-term care environment in Connecticut. LPNs will provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring compliance with state regulations and facility standards.
Requirements
- Active Connecticut LPN license required
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including evenings and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or senior living experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the plan of care
- Conduct routine patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Communicate changes in resident condition to supervising RN and physician
- Supervise and delegate tasks to CNA staff on assigned unit
- Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and family communication
- Maintain compliance with Connecticut state nursing regulations and facility policies
