We are seeking an LPN to be an integral member of the healthcare team and provide direct and indirect care to patients at Duke Women's Health Heritage.

Requirements

North Carolina or Multistate LPN License Required. NCBON must be notified within 60 days if using a multistate license.
BLS required

Responsibilities

Patient care responsibilities – rooming patients, collecting histories, and charting, ensuring medications are up to date and all information is correct prior to visit.
Fulfills EOC Responsibilities – cleaning exam rooms, stocking supplies, maintain a safe work environment.
Acts as clinical liaison between patients, clinical and clerical teams.
Assist providers as needed within scope of practice (ex. Assists with routine exams, procedures, chaperone exams).
Perform basic laboratory tests on premises (ex. Blood draws, POCT, Urine).
Prepare and administer medications as directed by provider.
Sterilize and high level disinfect medical equipment.
Perform other clinical functions as delegated and supervised by a provider or RN.
