The LPN provides basic medical care to patients in an outpatient opioid treatment program (OTP) recovery environment. The LPN maintains standards of professional nursing practice in accordance with clinic policies and procedures; ensures the safe delivery of medications in accordance with policies, procedures, and physician/provider orders; and is responsible for thorough, accurate reporting and documentation of patients’ symptoms, responses, medications administered, and treatment progress. Additionally, the LPN manages health-related case management services for the patient population and documents such services in accordance with established standards and regulatory requirements. This role offers a lower stress environment working in a medication dispensary with no heavy lifting of patients or bedside care, stable shifts, early morning hours, and the opportunity to be part of helping others in a recovery environment with paid training.
