About The Position

Hearthside Senior Living Bartlett is seeking a licensed Weekend Warrior Wellness Nurse (LPN) for our Assisted Living community. This is a part-time role with two 12-hour shifts every weekend (Saturdays & Sundays, 6:00 am–6:00 pm), leaving weekdays open. The position focuses on supervising the delivery of care and services to residents within regulatory guidelines and accepted standards of care. It involves ongoing communication with associates, residents, families, and providers, demonstrating good decision-making, making work assignments, and ensuring resident care aligns with healthcare provider orders and company policy. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring resident conditions, responding to changes, and performing first aid.

Requirements

  • Active LPN license in good standing in the state of Tennessee
  • Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
  • Compassionate, dependable, and a confident communicator
  • Comfortable working 12-hour shifts
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency, as required by state regulations.
  • CPR/AED certified.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience working as an LPN in a senior care setting.
  • Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
  • Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or Rehab experience a plus
  • Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supervise delivery of care and services to residents.
  • Perform procedures within the guidelines of all state and local regulations and accepted standards of care.
  • Maintain ongoing communication between the WN, associates, the residents and their families, professional consultants, and third-party providers.
  • Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates and other designated personnel in meeting the residents needs.
  • Monitor the condition of residents in AL.
  • Demonstrate good decision-making skills.
  • Make work assignments and meet with associates regularly to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/or the improvement of care and services.
  • Provide resident care according to health care providers orders and in accordance with regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and Company policy.
  • Accurately administer prescribed medications.
  • Supervise the continuity of resident care.
  • Respond to changes in resident condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs.
  • Perform first aid as required.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
