About The Position
Excel Staffing Solutions is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses with ventilator and/or tracheostomy experience to join our growing clinical team for current and anticipated specialized healthcare opportunities in the Rochester area. We're especially interested in LPNs with experience in vent units, complex long-term care, pediatric care, home care or other settings involving tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients. We're looking for nurses looking for everything from supplemental weekend shifts to consistent ongoing schedules. Excel Staffing Solutions is locally owned and operated. You'll have direct communication with our team and an agency that works hard to match you with assignments that fit your experience and availability.
Requirements
- Active NYS LPN license
- Current BLS/CPR
Nice To Haves
- Recent ventilator and/or tracheostomy experience preferred
- Pediatric experience is a plus
- Dependable attendance
- Evening, overnight and/or weekend availability is especially valuable
Responsibilities
- Strong assessment and medication administration skills
- Experience caring for medically complex patients
