LPN - Urgent Care
About The Position
Roxborough Memorial Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is an award-winning team dedicated to quality, compassion, and community. The hospital is a 131-bed community hospital that has served the medical and healthcare needs of the Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls, and northwest Philadelphia communities for over a century, having first opened its doors in 1890. Roxborough Memorial Hospital's School of Nursing has been educating nurses since 1898. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of an Urgent Care Provider, the LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience in the urgent care setting.
Requirements
- Current and valid state license
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- IV certification upon hire (state specific)
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one year experience in an applicable setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements.
