About The Position

The Urgent Care is a five-room clinic providing acute care to patients and families, ranging in lower to higher acuity levels. The clinic will see all ages, pediatric to geriatric. Point of care lab testing and radiology is available on site. Minor procedures, laceration repair, suture removal, fracture care, and complications of underlying conditions, such as asthma. Rooming includes chief complaint, vital signs, and medication/medical history. Medication administration that consists of oral, inhalation, intramuscular and subcutaneous. We have a small and intimate team. There will be a culture of strong teamwork and flexibility to meet the patient's needs. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an approved nursing program
• Successful completion of competency based orientation program
• Healthcare experience
• LIC-License Practical Nursing (LPN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the RN / Mid-level Provider / Physician and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, contributes to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Rooming includes chief complaint, vital signs, and medication/medical history.
• Medication administration that consists of oral, inhalation, intramuscular and subcutaneous.
