The LPN UA position is responsible for supporting inpatient nursing care units under the direction of the registered nurse (RN). Requirements
- Current Louisiana LPN Licensure
- Current BLS certification through any ILCOR provided courses (e.g., Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, American Red Cross) with a manikin check off.
- Intravenous (IV) Therapy certification required.
- Effective communication skills
- Time management skills
- Organizational skills
- Typing and computer skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to perform detail-oriented tasks
- Ability to meet weekend and holiday requirements.
Nice To Haves
- One year med/surg experience preferred.
