LPN Supervisor
About The Position
CareOne at Redstone is seeking a Wound Nurse for their facility in East Longmeadow, MA. This position offers a balance between life and work, focusing on long-term care, short-term rehab, skilled nursing, LTACH, and sub-acute care. The Wound Nurse will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and oversight of the nursing process for assigned residents, providing direct and indirect care in accordance with state and federal regulations and nursing standards. This role also involves supervising Certified Nursing Assistants and licensed nurses within the assigned building.
Requirements
- Graduate from credentialed school of nursing
- Currently licensed as a nurse in the state of practice.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day coordination and oversight of the nursing process for residents assigned to his or her care.
- Direct and indirect provision of care according to each resident's nursing and medical plan of care and in accordance with state and federal regulations and accepted nursing standards of practice.
- Supervises administratively in the building assigned, Certified Nursing Assistants and licensed nurses of all staff of his/her respective discipline.
- Supervision follows all accepted state and federal guidelines for the respective discipline.
