About The Position

Wilmington Treatment Center is seeking a full-time Substance Use Disorder Treatment LPN to join the team in Wilmington, NC. New Graduate LPN's are welcome to apply! Wilmington Treatment Center is North Carolina's premier addiction rehab center and recovery hospital. We offer a complete continuum of care for detox, rehab services, residential, partial hospitalization and an intensive outpatient programming (IOP) to help our patient reach their goals.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current, unrestricted LPN license (or eligibility to practice) in the state of employment.
• At least one year of nursing experience; behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment experience strongly preferred.
• Current CPR certification and willingness to complete de‑escalation and restraint training (provided upon hire, if needed).
• First Aid certification, as required by state or facility guidelines.
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to documentation, and the ability to remain calm and therapeutic in behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and administer basic care utilizing the nursing process within the LPN/LVN scope of practice in carrying out care plan objectives and goals.
• Role model expectations related to customer service and demonstrates a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety.
• Collaborate with others to ensure that patients’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs are met and when they are not met, acknowledges and works to resolve customer complaints.
• Provide for the basic comfort of patient, implement nursing interventions identified in the plan of care that is individualized to their needs.
• Apply appropriate interventions to progress the patient towards wellness and address maintenance of wellness.
