About The Position

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide professional patient care to long-term and post-acute care residents. Your role will involve directing and monitoring the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and ensuring proper documentation and recording. Your leadership abilities are crucial for both the success of the CNAs and the quality of patient care.

Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
  • Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

  • Experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements for disease specific care programs.
