About The Position
Assists the surgical team during operative procedures to provide quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists in preparing the Operating Room or Endoscopy suite with necessary equipment, supplies, and suture. Provides care to infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Requirements
- High School Education
- Maintains valid Louisiana LPN license (if applicable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Oral and written communication skills
- Legible handwriting
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Surgical Technician/GI lab Technician certified or comparable training/experience preferred
- Accredited school or 1 year surgical scrub/GI lab experience preferred
