About The Position
The Nursing Team at Messiah Lifeways is seeking dedicated PRN Nurses to join our team. Available PRN Schedules: Day Shift 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Evening Shift 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Night Shift 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Our PRN nursing team members must commit to a minimum of 32 hours per month with 16 of those hours being worked on weekends - during their assigned shift. Outside of the minimum requirement, PRN Nurses can pick up additional hours on other shifts (if available). Requirements
- Current LPN or RN license in Pennsylvania.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a dynamic environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with EHR systems and basic technology tools.
- One year of clinical experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centered nursing care to residents.
- Lead and support nursing team members on your assigned neighborhood and shift.
- Observe, assess, and document resident conditions while ensuring families and physicians are kept informed.
- Oversee and implement individualized care plans from admission through ongoing updates.
- Foster a safe, positive, and relationship-centered environment for residents and staff.
- Coordinate appointments, transportation, and interdepartmental communication.
- Support team accountability, including initiating disciplinary procedures when needed.
