LPN/RN - Full-Time (Nights 7p-7a)
About The Position
Gulf Coast Village Skilled Nursing is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse for its skilled nursing facility in Cape Coral, Florida. The position is scheduled for nights, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Nurses provide compassionate resident care, follow facility policies and shift routines, and support a positive, respectful environment for residents, families, guests, and staff. Pay is $24–$30.50 per hour for LPNs and $32.14–$39.94 per hour for RNs, based on verified work experience. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Hold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
- Be customer-service oriented and knowledgeable about successful customer service techniques.
- Be able to understand residents’ charts, doctors’ orders, plans of care, and medication orders.
- Be able to effectively gather clinical data regarding resident status and condition.
Responsibilities
- Model positive and open communication with staff, customers, guests, residents, and families.
- Follow shift routines, policies, and procedures for monitoring vital signs and weights and administering medications and treatments.
- Immediately report suspected abuse or neglect according to facility policy.
- Accurately use electronic documentation systems as required by facility policy.
