About The Position

The RN/LPN is responsible for monitoring the health and wellness of the residents with respect to overseeing health, nutrition, and dietary needs; activities of daily living; medication supervision; and assessing safety concerns of the residents. The RN/LPN responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the overall well-being of the residents; communication with all resident support services, physicians, health care agencies, and families; quality assurance; and regulatory compliance. We currently have available: 3rd shift, 40 hours, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM required to work every other weekend, alternating holidays, and on-call rotation as needed. The pay range is $35.00 up to $38.00 per hour. We also offer a $4.00/hour shift differential for weekends between 11:00 pm to 7:00 AM on top of base pay. Other program/agency-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Advanced degree in health services.
1-2 years of experience with the geriatric/dementia population.
At least 2 years of experience supervising CNAs or home health aides.
Excellent organizational skills.
Demonstration of strong clinical and documentation assessment skills.
Knowledge of community support services.

Nice To Haves

Experience in an assisted living center is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitoring the health and wellness of residents, including health, nutrition, dietary needs, activities of daily living, medication supervision, and safety concerns.

Maintaining quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Administering non-injectable medications (orals, drops, inhalers, topical ointments) and maintaining written documentation.
Performing other program/agency-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
