About The Position

Luxury Senior Living Communities in Coral Gables, Kendall & Homestead are looking for an RN/LPN (Night Shift) for its Palace Nursing Home & Rehab Center. The #1 priority of this position is to care for ill, injured, disabled and convalescent persons by rendering general nursing care.

Requirements

• Current Florida LPN or RN license.
• Must possess good communications skills, both verbal and written in English.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations.
• Basic math skills.

• Must be available to work on weekends, holidays & in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, including IV meds, if certified.
• Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and determine progress of residents.
• Assemble and use such equipment as catheters, tracheotomy tubes and oxygen suppliers.
• Evaluate residents’ needs, condition and care and assist in developing nursing care plan for individual residents.
