About The Position

Looking for a responsible and compassionate LPN to join our team at ACE in Riverdale, GA. Hours are flexible based on your scheduling needs. Safe in-home environment and PPE provided. This role involves one-to-one patient care in a home environment, assessing patients for stability, and following through with all doctor’s orders. Responsibilities include verifying medication details, documenting patient complaints, vital signs, current medication, and allergies, and potentially providing health promotion, teaching, and training to family members. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and graduate of an accredited program.
Must have a good standing license (LPN) in the state in which the clinician will practice.
Must have at least 12 months of hands-on nursing experience.
Current CPR certification.
Must be willing to provide in-home nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents.
Very comfortable and efficient in the use of EMRs and use of computers.
Experience with GTube, Trach/Vent.
Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Documentation review: 1 year (Required).
Nursing: 1 year (Required).

Prefer licensed or certified professionals but willing to consider others with adequate experience.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates a high level of compassionate interpersonal and communication skills necessary to consistently serve patients and family members in a professional manner.
One-to-one patient care in a home environment.
Assess patients for stability and follow through with all doctor’s orders.
Verify medication milligrams, last day dosed, take outs received, phase level, and verify guest doses.
Be thorough and accurate in documentation of patient complaints, vital signs, current medication, and allergies.
Some health promotion, teaching, and training of family members in necessary.
Other duties may be assigned.
