About The Position

Brookdale Mentor is seeking an LPN/RN Wellness Coordinator to assist in overseeing the clinical department. As a Wellness Coordinator, you will help manage the day-to-day clinical services of the community to verify that residents' activities of daily living (ADLs) and healthcare needs are met. You will also ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and are receiving quality care as their needs change.

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of nursing experience.
• Management/supervisory experience in overseeing a clinical care team.
• Ability to effectively listen and communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Must be self-directed, able to prioritize tasks as well as have the ability to accept directives.
• Team player with industry knowledge and the ability to connect with families.
• RN or LPN license in the state of Ohio.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day clinical services of the community.
• Verify that resident’s activities of daily living (ADLs) and healthcare needs are met.
• Verify residents are treated with respect and dignity.
• Verify residents are receiving quality care as their needs change.
• Provided training and education to caregivers/nurses on an ongoing basis to include classroom in-services and situation-specific training.
• Participated in on-call duties.
• Managed the associate’s schedules.
