Night Shift - LPN / RN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide direct, one-on-one medical care to medically fragile infants, children, and adolescents in their homes. This role involves focusing on the patient's medical needs and treatment according to the active plan of care, conducting ongoing assessments, administering medications and treatments, coordinating care, educating family members, and implementing preventative initiatives to ensure quality care and positive outcomes. The position is available for full-time and part-time shifts, with options for days, nights, and weekends.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license (New Grads Welcome, training provided!)
- Provide care in a client home setting
- Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!
Responsibilities
- Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
- Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
- Coordination of care
- Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
- Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient
