About The Position

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring LPNs and RNs for Private Duty Nursing (PDN) in Joplin and surrounding communities. This role offers a different approach to nursing compared to the hospital environment, focusing on 1:1 patient care with one patient and one family. It provides an opportunity for consistent supplemental income, with flexible scheduling options including weekdays, weekends, and overnights. The position emphasizes meaningful care and offers competitive pay with premium shift differentials.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Ability to work with children and young adults.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential weekends and overnights.
• Must be able to work 1:1 patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience is a plus.
• Experience with Private Duty Nursing (PDN) is a plus, though training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 patient care in a home setting.
• Work with one patient and their family.
• Offer consistent cases and schedules.
• Provide care during weekdays, weekends, or overnights based on availability and patient needs.
