About The Position

The LPN / RN Home Care Nurse is responsible for providing direct skilled client care under the supervision of a registered nurse, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive client care outcomes. Qualicare Homecare is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as LPNs/RNs. Requirements

Current certificate of competence and good standing
Certified in CPR
Strong clinical skills
Negative TB test or chest x-ray
Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
Excellent customer service skills
Must be a licensed nurse in BC
Must have a vehicle

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care
Provides accurate, detailed, and timely documentation
Conducts ongoing assessments
Prepares, administers and appropriately documents actions taken specific to medications
Performs all skills, treatments, and procedures competently in accordance with the provincial scope of practice
Follows principles of infection control and Universal Precautions
