About The Position

Primary duty is to provide skilled nursing services to mental health, substance abuse, or developmentally disabled clients, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or medical doctor, and to provide a variety of related services to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. Services include but are not limited to assessment, treatment planning, direct service provision, person centered services using specialized knowledge and skills and management of client risk and safety.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Florida.
• Certified in CPR.
• Able to effectively perform client/patient behavior management techniques (CPI) with appropriate training.
• Able to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services.
• Able to use a computer.
• Eligible to participate in state or federally funded programs such as Medicaid.
• Able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings.
• Possess a valid driver’s license from the state in which you reside.
• Good driving record.
• Insurable under the corporate policy.
