About The Position

A Quality Assurance Nurse is responsible for assuring quality control of all health services provided by the Agency and for reviewing documentation for appropriateness of care.

Requirements

Licensed LPN in the State of Michigan
5+ years required in Quality Assurance
Experience in reviewing nurses’ notes for completeness, compliance with physicians’ orders, authorized services, regulations required
Experience in reviewing admission packets required
Experience required in reviewing all POC and recertification for:accuracy, order updates, frequency updates, goal updates, medication profiles review, format and wording, diagnoses update, C.N.A. care plan
Experience with hospice, home health or any experience in the healthcare field required
Ability to travel
Effective written and verbal communication
Clean background and drug screen

Responsibilities

Assuring quality control of all health services provided by the Agency
