This role offers a dynamic environment where you can collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive care to patients dealing with respiratory conditions (i.e. COPD, asthma, pulmonary hypertension, lung nodules, etc.). As an LPN, you will provide case management support, rooming patients, in-basket, prior authorization, referrals, prescription refills and checking out patients. This practice has a great team comprised of Providers, LPNs, Medical Assistants and Physician Office Specialists. Orientation is typically 4-6 weeks and we have a great learning culture with tenured staff to support onboarding needs! This position provides nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. The LPN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The LPN delegates nursing tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. This position serves as a resource for other associates. May communicate instructions, do minor scheduling, and inspect work. Does not hire, fire, discipline, promote, demote, transfer, or appraise, but may be consulted by higher management in these areas. This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
