Join our team as a PRN LPN! This role provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. You will demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles, practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, and utilize appropriate age and population specific standards. The role requires the ability to perform testing to evaluate resident status, recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively in emergent situations. You will ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents, contribute to resident assessments, and administer medications or treatments as ordered. This position also involves providing technical support to healthcare professionals, documenting resident interactions and outcomes, and establishing effective working relationships with residents, healthcare providers, and the public. You will work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team, communicate clearly, and maintain confidentiality. Additionally, you will counsel residents, family members, or advocates on prevention and treatment plans under direction, and develop self-care programs using resident education principles. Other related duties as assigned.
