The LPN/Personal Care Assistant will support the professional staff in meeting the medical and educational needs of assigned students. This role involves implementing medical services under the direction of a certified school nurse, assisting with medical management plans, and monitoring student responses. The position also requires collaboration with teachers to support the student's educational and social development, performing instructional activities, and assisting with behavior management. Additionally, the role includes providing direct personal care, assisting students with mobility, performing clerical and housekeeping duties, and maintaining confidentiality. The LPN/Personal Care Assistant will also be responsible for completing logs for the School-Based ACCESS Program (SBAP) and participating in related training.
