As an LPN for the Float Pool, you will support multiple providers in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population. As a member of the Patient Care Team, you will apply your knowledge of nursing theory and disease processes to provide high-quality nursing care appropriate to each patient’s needs. This per diem LPN will support the following locations: Wellington, Concierge West Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, and Palm Beach Gardens. In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand your clinical skills through hands-on experience, ongoing education, and professional development while making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of the community. A caregiver in this per diem role works days between 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with a minimum of 48 hours required every six weeks and at least one day per week. This position requires travel to West Palm Beach, Wellington, and Palm Beach Gardens.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program
  • Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
  • Knowledge of infection control practices
  • Computer literate

Nice To Haves

  • One year of clinical experience
  • Med/surg & telemetry experience
  • Urgent care experience
  • One year of experience in outpatient setting

Responsibilities

  • Implement patient care.
  • Complete nursing documentation.
  • Assess and document pain management.
  • Recognize and communicate changes in patients’ condition.
  • Report pertinent information to a Charge Nurse or Physician.
  • Follow code protocols.
  • Assessing; planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the patients progress through the entire continuum of car in conjunction with the R.N. or physician.
