Requirements

• Your Nursing License with CLHA or equivalent
• Your BLS or CPR
• A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months
• Proof of a negative TB test
• Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
• Commitment to work every other weekend
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with ability to communicate in other languages an asset
• Reliability and strong organization skills
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs. (16 kg)

Responsibilities

• The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care for individuals and families with a broad range of care needs in their homes and other community locations.
• The Licensed Practical Nurse actively demonstrates a working knowledge of nursing techniques, principles, and practice in order to holistically care for the patient.
• Utilizes discretion to identify the need for Licensed Nurse support with patients due to acuity of care up to and including transfer of care to Licensed Nurse caseload.
