About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a pediatric 1:1 private duty case in Franklin Lakes, NJ. This role involves providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care to a young child in the home setting. We are currently hiring for evening and weekend shifts, with flexible scheduling options.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey LPN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Physical exam within the past 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
- Proof of MMR immunization within 10 years
- Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience preferred (home care or facility)
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, developmentally appropriate 1:1 nursing
- Observe, record, and communicate changes in condition
- Partner with families to promote comfort and stability
- Ensure infection control and proper equipment use
