About The Position
As an LPN Outpatient Recovery Nurse, you will provide attentive post-procedure nursing care in our outpatient endoscopy recovery setting, supporting safe transitions from sedation to discharge. This role is essential to delivering timely, accurate, and patient-focused care.
Requirements
- Current Virginia LPN license (in good standing)
- BLS certification (or ability to obtain promptly)
- Strong assessment, documentation, and patient-communication skills
- Comfort working in a high-volume outpatient environment
Responsibilities
- Monitoring vital signs and recovery status
- Administering medications per orders
- Managing IVs
- Documenting clearly in the medical record
- Reinforcing discharge instructions
- Communicating changes promptly to the care team
