About The Position
Behavioral Pediatrics of Rural Georgia seeks an LPN to join their growing multidisciplinary team. This position primarily provides telehealth services in an office environment, making a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families in southeast Georgia. The role requires strong communication skills with parents from diverse backgrounds and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Active LPN license
- Clean criminal background check
- Interest in pediatric mental and behavioral health
- Excellent organizational, time management, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year(s) experience in medical field
- 1 year experience in Behavioral Health
Responsibilities
- Developing, managing and monitoring care plans for patients within the medical practice
- Reconcile medications
- Document and implement chronic and principle care management plans
- Provide emotional support to caregivers
- Facilitate prescription refills
- Assist with drug prior authorizations
- Assist families getting set up for telemedicine
- Conduct pre-visit planning
- Make referrals
- Ensure timely follow up of patients receiving case management
