About The Position

Join our team in our outpatient surgical office as LPN or Medical Assistant and enjoy a either a 5x8 schedule or a 4-day work week. Our outpatient surgical office features state-of-the-art technologies and has a collaborative team model approach, working closely together providing advanced patient care. We are located in beautiful northwest Arizona. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Medical Assistants (MA) assist in providing excellent patient care by assisting physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office settings. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by the physician.

Requirements

  • LPN Candidates: Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program and High school or Equivalent
  • LPN Candidates: Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license
  • LPN Candidates: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
  • MA Candidates: High School or Equivalent
  • MA Candidates: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
  • MA Candidates: Must meet one of the following three criteria: Has attended an accredited Medical Assistant training program by The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools
  • MA Candidates: Must meet one of the following three criteria: Has a Medical Assistant Certification issued by National Healthcareers Association (CCMA), American Medical Technologist (RMA), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA), or American Medical Certification Association (CMAC).
  • MA Candidates: Must meet one of the following three criteria: Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States
  • Able to distinguish appropriate colors
  • Ability to work above or below shoulder level
  • Lift to 50 pounds
  • Be on feet 90% of the day
  • Expected duties have routine potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues, to chemicals, biological, and radioactive substances

Nice To Haves

  • If MA candidates' training program was not approved by specific agencies, we will assist you in obtaining a CCMA certification.
