BLS Certification- Required...(May be obtained during orientation period)

Nice To Haves

Completion of an Accredited Practical Nursing Program - Preferred
Valid State of Ohio LPN Licensure - Preferred
1-3 Years of Experience in a Healthcare/Medical setting - Preferred

Responsibilities

Moves throughout the facility as needed, appropriately assists in emergency drills and situations, and demonstrates the physical, clinical, and professional capacity to provide direct patient care as described in the tasks and duties of this position.
Performs nursing duties within the appropriate scope of practice under the direction of the physician/provider/RN.
Provides appropriate patient and family education.
Performs clerical/administrative tasks and duties as needed.
Works cooperatively with unit staff, physicians/providers and ancillary departments.
Maintains high standards for professional nursing practice.
Performs all tasks and duties of this position according to department policy and procedure.

Within the level of the nurse's qualifications, you may be assigned to work in other areas based on patient census and staffing needs.
