About The Position

Essentia Health Park Rapids is seeking a dedicated LPN or CMA to join our walk-in care team at our Highway 34 Clinic. In this role, you will help provide high-quality, personalized care in a positive, fast-paced environment. This position offers 64–80 hours per two-week pay period, full benefits, and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 am. Every third weekend and a holiday rotation are required, excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Requirements

• Education as required for licensure.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota upon hire.
• Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire.
• Must pass certification within two attempts.
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health.
• Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.
• Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.
• Rooming patients
• Partnering with internal and external teams to ensure seamless, coordinated care
• Various other duties as assigned.
