About The Position
Performs a variety of patient care activities and assists the provider and nursing staff to maintain the highest standard practice of care. They are responsible for restocking of supplies in the work area and maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (for MA)
- Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Missouri (for LPN)
- BLS Certification (required within 90 days of hire for MA, required for LPN)
- Skill in taking vital signs
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and public
- Ability to maintain quality control standards
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understand and respond to detailed oral and written instructions
- Basic computer skills (required for MA)
- Ability to learn and perform diagnostic testing/procedures such as x-rays and non-waived testing (for MA)
- Skill in attention to detail (for LPN)
- Skill in patient education and instruction (for LPN)
- Skill in multi-tasking (for LPN)
- Ability to maintain calm and effective reactions during emergency situations (for LPN)
- Ability to learn and efficiency utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs (for LPN)

- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) (preferred for MA)
