The Licensed Practical Nurse is cross trained on both clinical and administrative responsibilities. The clinical aspects include recording vital signs when interacting with patients, compiling patients' medical histories and administering medications under direction of a supervising physician. The administrative aspects can include everything from scheduling appointments to billing and assisting patients in filling out insurance forms. Join the Family Medicine Residency Clinic at Spartanburg Regional — a fast-paced, team-driven practice serving infants, children, adults, and seniors across the full spectrum of primary care. This isn’t routine primary care. In our residency clinic, you’ll care for patients from newborns to geriatrics, see a wide variety of conditions — acute, chronic, preventive, and procedural, work closely with resident physicians and experienced faculty, play an active role in teaching and team-based care, and be part of a collaborative environment where your skills and judgment matter. If you thrive in a busy clinic, enjoy variety, and take pride in delivering excellent patient care, you’ll fit right in.
