About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Health Services Department at multiple locations. The LPN will assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients within a physician clinic under the supervision of a physician or Allied Health Provider (CNP/PA). This role participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient advocate, and provides coordination to clinical staff regarding patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician.

Requirements

Current Licensed Practical Nurse in State of Ohio.
Current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

Two (2) or more years of previous experience in a physician office.

Responsibilities

Assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of patients within the physician clinic with the supervision of the physician or Allied Health Provider (CNP/PA).
Participates in patient and family teaching.
Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission.
Provides coordination to the clinical staff as to patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician.
