LPN Nurse - Full Time (Days) UDS Float
About The Position
CommQuest seeks a full-time LPN Staff Nurse for our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Urinary Drug Screening (UDS) program located in Canton, Ohio. You will provide assessments, medications, and other medical treatment directed by your supervisor for clients suffering from addiction. CommQuest Services is one of the largest non-profit mental health, addiction recovery, and social services organizations in Northeast Ohio, working with clients from more than 34 counties in 12 facilities through more than 20 programs. We help people make positive changes in their lives through in-patient, outpatient and school-based programs, along with supportive services - from basic needs to employment assistance.
Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Minimum LPN currently licensed in the State of Ohio, with no current license restrictions
- Previous knowledge of mental health and/or addictions is required
- Previous experience with systems such as Methasoft and Methadone pump required
- Must be professional and team player working together for the benefit of our clients
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree in Nursing is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition and implement treatment plans including assisting admission to detox unit
- Educate patients on condition, medication, and treatment plan
- Document nursing care via EHR
- Implement nursing care under clinical supervision of the Director and Medical Doctor
- Work and communicate effectively with Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Director, clinical staff, etc. to provide best client care
- Process Urinary Drug Screenings
- All other duties as assigned
