About The Position

Join our EPIC team at Cascade Senior Care Center! We offer great staff ratios, a supportive management team, and 4-star staffing. This position provides an opportunity to promote hospitality and excellent customer service, foster a positive healing environment, and perform a variety of treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis. You will also administer medications, provide preventative and supportive care, and oversee the Nurse Aide team.

Requirements

• A current license to practice as an LPN in the state of Michigan.
• Current CPR certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• Team player, dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors.
• Promote a positive, healthy environment through kind words and encouragement.
• Perform a variety of treatments, including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician.
• Advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• Provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• Oversee the Nurse Aide team, including giving direction and assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.

• Up to $41.40 per hour on 2nd shift
• Starting Wage for LPN: $29.15 - $33.00 per hour (based on years of certification!)
