About The Position

The Sharon at SouthPark is seeking an experienced LPN Nurse Supervisor to join their leadership team on second shift. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current North Carolina LPN license, or compact state license.
Current CPR certification.
Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

Charge nurse, supervisory, or leadership experience in long-term care.
Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or assisted living experience.
Experience leading teams and mentoring clinical staff.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for nursing services during the assigned shift.
Lead and support nursing staff to ensure exceptional resident care.
Supervise daily nursing operations within Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living.
Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in clinical status within scope of practice.
Participate in admissions, transfers, discharges, and care planning activities within scope of practice.
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacies, laboratories, therapists, and other healthcare providers.
Review physician orders, laboratory testing, clinical documentation, and treatments for accuracy and timely follow-up.
Support quality assurance, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Coach, mentor, and develop nursing team members.
Conduct resident rounds and address concerns proactively.
Serve as a clinical resource for residents, families, and staff within scope of licensure.
Perform all duties in accordance with the North Carolina Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and within the scope of the individual's professional licensure.
