About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse Residents to join their team supporting clients in Tucson, Arizona. The Nurse Residency Program is designed to help new graduate nurses launch their careers in the rapidly growing field of home health care, offering comprehensive training and mentorship. The program includes eight weeks of instruction, featuring online coursework, in-person labs, and precepted clinical care, followed by extended oversight and ongoing training. Participants will benefit from safe skills practice in a state-of-the-art simulation lab and will work independently in the home setting only when they feel comfortable and ready. A dedicated clinical mentor will provide support throughout the program, which also offers opportunities to work with clients of all ages, diagnoses, and care needs. Requirements

  • Active nursing license in good standing in the state of Arizona or a multistate nursing license
  • Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program (verified by transcript or diploma); graduation date (not license date) must be within the last year

Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful relationships while providing safe, one-on-one care
  • Monitor and assess clients’ conditions
  • Follow, execute, and accurately document physicians’ orders
  • Perform comprehensive client assessments
  • Document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to nursing care
