This position involves utilizing the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The LPN will collaborate with the healthcare team, evaluate patient responses to interventions, and accept delegated nursing measures for which they are qualified and licensed. The role requires graduation from an accredited LPN program, an active LPN license in Indiana or an NLC license, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA. Advanced life support certifications may be required based on unit specialty. Successful completion of orientation is mandatory.
